Updating email account for SmarterMail - Outlook Express
How to change an existing email account to work with SmarterMail if you are using Outlook Express
Other versions of Outlook will be very similar. For other email clients like Mac Mail and Thunderbird please refer to their help documentation.
Step 1
In Outlook Express, click on the 'Accounts...' option under Tools: -

Highlight the account you want to change and click Properties.

Step 3
Change your account details. On the Servers tab use:-
- Incoming mail server: mail.rezolve.eu
- Outgoing Mail Server: mail.rezolve.eu. (If your ISP has provided you with an Outgoing Server, e.g. smtp.broadbandprovider.co.uk, use this instead.)
- For SmarterMail you need your full email address as the Account name.
- If your password was changed during migration to meet the minimum security requirements, enter the new password.
- Make sure that My server requires authentication is ticked if you have set your outgoing server to mail.rezolve.eu, otherwise you will get errors when sending emails.

Click OK to close the Properties window.
Finish
Click 'Close'
